After 34 days in the game I’ve sold my first microstock image!
Opening my inbox this morning I discovered an email marked “BigStockPhoto Contributor Earnings Report.” Naturally I thought it frightfully odd to have received such an email as I was under the impression that I still had no contributor earnings to report. But no! On 26th January at 20:13:07, my “Big Ben and Underground Sign, London” photo, taken during the final leg of my Inter Railing trip of 2004 on my little 4 megapixel Canon G3, was downloaded my some mysterious benefactor of impeccable taste. It would be nice to know what sordid uses my little photo is now going to be put to, but I shall console myself with the hope that it’s going to a loving home and the fifty-whole-pence that is now coming my way. Now all I have to do is decide how to spend my earnings.
You can check out the rest of my images on Big Stock Photo here.
You can even sign up for your own account and start uploading for free to see for yourself just how easy it is to start making money from your photography.
